Intercityhotel Hamburg-Barmbek

stayed here for 3 nights with my sister, had a fab stay. brand-new room for hot water, welcoming staff - everything was good. a good choice of food for breakfast, which was savoury to satisfy everyone. location: the hotel was close enough to u bahn and s bahn as well as airport and city center.

There was a wide range of food for breakfast, it was tasty. The room I booked was soundproof and impeccably clean, complete with black out curtains, kettle plus fridge for water etc.

The soundproofing was excellent, great for a peaceful night's sleep.

The reception staff could benefit from better training in customer service skills.

The stay was pleasant, with a room that was spacious and clean. The staff was efficient in addressing my inquiries, and the convenient access to public transport made commuting around the city a breeze. The only downside was the rude interaction I had with one of the reception staff, but overall, it was a good experience.

Staying at intercityhotel hamburg-barmbek was wonderful! The location is amazing, just a minute from the u/s-bane. The beds were super comfortable, and the sound isolation ensured a quiet night. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The tv with sky sport and bundesliga was a nice touch too!

Great location near train station, but slow wi-fi in rooms.

It was just a nice choice for getting around the area in Hamburg with decent value for money. The shower was unique but left the floor really wet, inconvenient. Bring your own hot water kettle for late-night needs.

Perfect spot, clean room, friendly staff.

The location near public transportation was a huge benefit. The room provided ample space and comfort, with a well-lit bathroom and excellent air conditioning. There were some muffled noises from the street at night, which could disrupt light sleepers. Breakfast was a highlight with a vast buffet that catered to diverse tastes, ensuring a great start to the day.

Can't recommend highly enough for a short break

Comfortable room, with a very good en suite bathroom. The excellent location near the train station allowed easy access to the city center and attractions within a few minutes.
